Memphis Botanic Garden
There's no place in the city of Memphis quite like the Memphis Botanical Garden! It truly elevated my wild spirit at every turn,it was the ideal way to start off a windy fall morning. With so much to see, you can easily spend the entire morning exploring their 96 acres.
Is the first Chondola of its kind ever built in the U.S, offering a smooth ride to a 600 ft summit to the top of Anakeeska Mountain. "There's Magic in the Mountains", and with the remarkable view of downtown Gatlinburg Anakeeska offers I couldn't agree more!
The most iconic hotel in the city of Memphis is The Peabody Hotel, known for its adorable ducks and their daily strolls to the lobby twice a day! The best kept secret of The Peabody hotel is that it's one of the best places in Memphis to watch the sun go down !
Uncle Lou Fried Chicken is the place to go to, if your looking for some authentic crispy addictive chicken in Memphis! This infamous joint was put on the map when they were featured on "Drive ins, Diners, and Dives" back in 2008.
Out of all the attractions we indulged in during our trip to Gatlinburg, TN, snow tubing at Ober was our favorite! It was my son's seventh birthday trip, and he couldn't wait to get out on the slopes! He had been begging to try snow tubing for the first time on his birthday. So of course I couldn't let my birthday boy down, and made sure to get our tickets in advance for a tubing session. Which is the best decision I ever made, considering they were sold out all weekend.
