Over a million visitors visit the U.S capitol every year during the cherry blossom festival. Needless to say D.C is a crowded place to be this time of year. Some individuals travel from all over the world just to see this beautiful spectacle of cherry blossom blooming all over our nation's capitol. With that being said it can be rather difficult to get that Instagram worthy shot you traveled so far for. Which is why I'm always happy to help any fellow traveler get the picture they traveled so far for. One of the most valuable lesson you can learn from travel is sometimes it's not about the destination, and more about the human encounters and connections we make along the way!
Meeting Fellow Travelers
It always a pleasure to meet other travelers from all over the world! Never let something as simple as not speaking the same language stop you from making an effort to help someone during your travels. For example the first picture above of the two lovely Japanese ladies I met during my trip, absolutely makes my heart melt every time I look at it. These ladies didn't speak a word of English, but we still managed to communicate using hand motions. They had seen me help a family take a photo, and had signaled if I could also help them. What I didn't expect was there timid approach towards me, have complete 360 degrees change
